Should be even quicker than composing a MailChimp newsletter, which for some purposes is great, but a little too cumbersome and complicated for quick announcements.

This would be great, especially if it means one doesn't need to have MailChimp, which can be an extra expense, or just a pain to have yet another type of account one needs to keep track of.

Communicating with the congregation en masse is one of the common challenges many church leaders face.
MailChimp is too complicated and cumbersome for many situations
Gmail (etc.) limits the number of email addresses you can send to, otherwise you can't send the message because it is considered spam
We envision a simple interface (like Gmail) with the email blast functionality of MailChimp (avoiding spam filters)
